BPCO et bétabloquants.
Étude néerlandaise incluant 2.230 H&F (moyenne 64,8 ans) atteints de BPCO suivis en moyenne pendant 7,2 ans :
paradoxalement, les bétabloquants pourraient réduire le risque d'exacerbations et améliorer la survie,
peut-être par un double bénéfice cardiologique et pulmonaire.

Study in the Netherlands including 2,230 men and women (mean age 64.8 years) with an incident or prevalent diagnosis of COPD followed during a mean period of 7.2 years: paradoxically, treatment with ß-blockers may reduce the risk of exacerbations and improve survival in patients with COPD, possibly as a result of dual cardiopulmonary protective properties.
